PRE-BOOKING ELIGIBILITY (MUST READ)

If you are considering having a cosmetic tattoo procedure done with us here, then you will need to advise us if you experience or are experiencing any of the following, otherwise we will expect that none of the following apply to you and that you are eligible for this procedure.

If you are unsure about any of the following questions, then please feel free to contact us by sending an email to jesswilkes@jwcta.com OR info@foxandmoontattoo.com.au with any questions so we can clarify for you.

 

  • If you are under 18 years of age

  • Currently Pregnant or planning on falling pregnant

  • If you are currently breast feeding 

  • If you have any existing cosmetic tattoos

  • Planning to have or have recently had any cosmetic injectables or cosmetic surgery

  • Currently have an active infection

  • If you are on antibiotics or have been on antibiotics up to two weeks prior to your appointment
  • If you tend to bleed excessively or have any blood clotting conditions

  • If you are taking any blood thinning medications including but not limited to, Nurofen, fish oil, aspirin, etc
  • Have any known medical conditions

  • If you regularly donate blood or blood products 

  • Have recently had any facial treatments 

  • Suffer from any severe allergies 

  • Any upcoming plans in the next week following your appointment where you would sweat excessively

  • If you Have ever experienced any reactions to beauty treatments or medical procedures previously

  • Suffer from a keloid scaring

  • Currently sick or unwell

  • If you are currently using vitamin A based skincare or Roacatane 


Should you bypass the checklist or not disclose the information required and are found to be unsuitable for the cosmetic tattoo procedure, your booking deposit will not be refunded, and we will not be able to make any further bookings with Jess Wilkes Cosmetic Tattoo Artist for you.  

 

PRE-PROCEDURE INFO

 

Procedure day, prior to arrival:

-Ensure you’ve recently eaten and consumed enough water

-DO NOT consume any caffeinated or alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to your booking. 

-Avoid high stimulant and sugar drinks including pre- workout supplements. 

-Wash your hair, as it can be difficult to do this in the first few days after your procedure while avoiding contact with your new cosmetic tattoo.

-Avoid wearing makeup on or around the area to be tattooed if possible, however we can remove the makeup from the procedure site at your appointment if needed.

-DO NOT shave your eyebrow or other hairs

-DO NOT take any Nurofen, Aspirin, Vitamin E or fish oil for at least 24 hours (do not cease taking regular medications without the advice of a health professional)


7 days pre-procedure:

-Cease taking all blood thinners including Nurofen and fish oil (however DO NOT cease taking regular medications without the advice of a health professional)

-No use of fake tan or being sunburnt, especially on your face as we need to assess your natural skin tone..

 

14 days pre- procedure:

-No treatments of muscle relaxants or dermal fillers on or around the area of your up-coming cosmetic tattoo for at least 2 weeks either side of your procedure.

-Do not undergo any facial treatments on or near the area to be tattooed.

-Must cease using topical retinol use (Vitamin A based skincare) particularly on and around the area to be tattooed


And finally:

We graciously offer a 15minute window for being late, however if you are any later than the 15 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled, and your deposit will be forfeited. We expect that you respect our artists time and other clients scheduled appointments also.
