Well, hello everyone! After what seems like an eternity, Fox and Moon Tattoo is finally back up and running again at our new Windsor location - we could not be more excited. We’ve missed you all so much and hope you’re just as excited to see us as we are to see you! I thought I’d make this post to explain all the little changes that we have had to implement so that we can reopen and adhere to the existing COVID-19 policies put in place by the government. All of our staff (including admin) have completed and displayed COVID-19 Infection Control certificates and are familiar with these restrictions so we promise you’re in safe hands 😊
Luckily, tattooing is already an industry that prides itself and relies on cleanliness and sterility. We have amped up our cleaning procedures where appropriate to make sure that both reception and the tattoo area of our shop are sanitised and clean at all times. We have the usual hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes for client use as well just to ensure that everyone coming into the shop has clean hands! We are also providing masks for those clients who would feel more comfortable wearing one during their tattoo. We want you guys to feel clean and safe in our space so we’re doing all that we can achieve this!
As the government has capped the amount of people allowed in the shop at a time, we have decided to postpone in-person consultations and are instead offering phone or skype consults with our lovely artists. That way you can chat away about your future designs in the comfort and safety of your own home (or even in bed, no judgement!). We have also implemented social distancing where possible by limiting the amount of stations in the tattoo area and we are not allowing any plus ones into the shop at all. You are more than welcome to have a friend/family member drop you off but unfortunately for now, they will not be able to come into the shop with you. This also means no walk-ins at this time, so if you are wanting to book in, make sure you message us on Facebook or send us an email at email@example.com. As usual, we are taking down important personal details from our clients to assist with contract tracing should that be required!
We also ask that if you have a tattoo booked and experience any cold or flu symptoms within 14 days of your booking date, that you reschedule. I know it’s tough to postpone your tattoo that you have probably now been waiting months for but it’s in the best interest of our staff, other clients and your body if you postpone! I do also want to stress that anyone who does arrive at the shop showing any symptoms will be asked to reschedule.
From the bottom of our hearts we want to express our appreciation for all of your continued support, patience and understanding during this crazy time. We recognise how different everything is and hope that you all are excited to come and see us - even if it’s a little unusual for a while! We have put a lot of love into our new shop so we are just over the moon that we can open up and share it with you all.
